6/1/14 18:44Right. So I have tried to keep a journal a million times and have always failed miserably, so let's see if this goes any better (please go better). I'll make it a New Year's resolution, even, even though I don't really do those.
So. I haven't been outside for the last two days. That's because it's currently -15 F with a windchill of -39 F. I keep hearing hard things hit the ceiling, and I hope it's not branches and stuff breaking off because those could hit the powerlines and knock out the power. And I really don't want to be without heat in -15 degree temperatures. So far, so good. My feet are cold, but I think that's just because as hard as my little furnace is working, it can't exactly keep up. Maybe I'll bake something tonight, to see if I can heat up the house a little. That might work. School's been cancelled for tomorrow too, so no getting up at 5 to see if they call me in for work.
So I finished my reread (with the audiobook) of Catching Fire last night. God, those books give me so many feels. I haven't read Mockingjay in a long time because it just breaks my heart, but it's time. I need to continue doing canon reviews on quite a few of my fandoms. I watched The Avengers last night, and it definitely helped me with Thor. The Kingkiller Chronicles next, I think, then Percy Jackson and I'll fit Harry Potter in their somewhere, and LotR too.
